Rich Goldschmidt joins personal care consumer products manufacturing company.

Los Angeles - August 4, 2003. Charles Flora Consumer Products, LLC a manufacture of health and beauty products, including “Color Smash™” an award winning teen focused hair color product today announced its hiring of Rich Goldschmidt a 20 veteran of personal care consumer products sales and marketing as the company’s new executive vice president in charge of sales and marketing operations reporting directly to Bruce M Friedman, President and CEO. Mr.Goldschmidt joins industry veteran Gerald Bundy, Executive Vice President of Operations as an addition to the growing senior management team being assembled at Charles Flora.

Mr. Goldschmidt, for the last year has served as a consultant to Charles Flora. Mr. Goldschmidt is directly responsible for much of the early success enjoyed by Charles Flora with “Color Smash™”. He will focus on positioning Charles Flora’s expanding line of personal care products, including licensed and orphan brands into the mass retail market. Mr. Goldschmidt will work with the company’s established national broker network.

“Charles Flora has a solid business foundation and model to generate revenues, and growth. The company is dedicated to building a line of health and beauty consumer products by combining the cross leveraging of licenses into the HBC category and the acquisition of orphan brands,” said Rich Goldschmidt. “I would have never left serving as an industry consultant for a ‘new company’ if I was not 100% convinced that Charles Flora will be a leader in its industry.”

Previous to consulting, Mr. Goldschmidt had over 20 years of experience in the health and beauty industry holding various management positions at Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Revlon (where he served as team leader for Wal-Mart) and Tsumura (where he was responsible for negotiating licensing). Mr. Goldschmidt holds a BA in English.
